This Berjasta Modern strips the banded flatweave tradition down to a calmer, more contemporary palette, staying in warm earth tones throughout rather than the multicolor sampler approach. Broad bands of terracotta, camel, and soft sage-grey run horizontally across the field, but each one carries a different subtle texture rather than a different color, some woven in a fine diagonal twill, others left as a smooth solid wash, and a few marked with a delicate row of small rust red dashes that read almost like Morse code along the stripe.
