Handmade Afghan Farhan Rug

This Farhan takes a lighter, more pastel approach than most of the pieces we've listed, and it's the lavender that really sets it apart. Large, loosely drawn leaf and vine forms in a soft lavender-grey drift diagonally across the ivory field, interspersed with smaller floral clusters in sage green and touches of coral red that add just enough warmth to keep the pastel palette from feeling cold. Nothing here locks into a tight repeat, the vines and blossoms scatter with a natural, hand-drawn irregularity.
