Handmade Afghan Qeshlaq Gul Rug

This piece takes a much more botanical, illustrative approach than a traditional gul repeat, large maple-leaf shapes, each speckled with tiny dots and finely veined in ivory, cascade loosely across a soft taupe field on thin curling vines.
