Cover Two takes a horizontal rather than vertical split approach. Below this warm upper band, the lower three-quarters of the cover open into a completely different mood. Fine vertical stripes in cool silver grey, sky blue, deep burgundy, warm taupe and cream run from top to bottom in a calm, open arrangement — wider than a fine stripe but not quite reaching the boldness of the upper panel, sitting in a satisfying middle ground between the two. The cool grey and sky blue tones provide a refreshing contrast to the warm red and amber above, creating a natural visual balance between warm and cool that gives the cover a sophisticated, considered quality.
