Handmade Afghan Stripe Art Deco Rug

This piece takes the same fine horizontal stripe technique as our other stripe weaves but leans into a more structured, Art Deco sensibility, with the bands building in tight, deliberate gradients rather than a loose, organic drift. Rust red, terracotta, amber gold, and warm brown run in narrow lines across the field, with small flecks of slate blue and deeper tones threaded through to add depth and rhythm.
