Handmade Afghan Farhan Ziegler Rug

This Farhan Ziegler runs a darker, more saturated ground than most pieces in this collection, and the trellis structure sits closer to the surface because of it. A fine ivory diagonal lattice crosses the charcoal field, carrying an unusually rich mix of motifs at each intersection, feathered leaf forms in mustard gold, small floral clusters in dusty rose, and touches of brick red scrollwork winding through the crossings. It's a busier, more layered field than the lighter Zieglers we've listed, with the dark ground making every color pop rather than blend. A substantial ivory border, filled with large rosette medallions in navy, red, and gold, wraps the whole piece in a frame just as detailed as the field itself.
